What this site is

Child Vaccine Tracker is a free reference tool that presents the official childhood immunisation schedule for a range of countries in plain, non-clinical language. For each country it lists every vaccine from birth to the mid-teens, what each one protects against, and roughly when it is due. Enter a date of birth and it produces a personalised timeline with calendar reminders.

Who it is for

It is written for parents, expectant parents, grandparents and other caregivers - particularly new parents trying to make sense of a long schedule, and families who move between countries and need to see how two schedules compare. It is not written for clinicians, though the sources it draws on are the same ones clinicians use.

How the data is sourced and verified

Each country's schedule is built primarily from that country's official government immunisation programme. It is then cross-checked against at least two further independent sources - typically a national public-health agency, a paediatric professional body (such as the AAP, the RCPCH, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics or the Sociedade Brasileira de Pediatria), and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control's Vaccine Scheduler. We only publish a country once its schedule can be confirmed across multiple reliable public sources.

Every source is listed openly on the country's page. An automated job runs on the first of every month: it re-tests every source link, records whether each page has changed since the last check, and produces a report of anything that needs a human to review - a moved page, a changed schedule, a dead link, or a clinic-finder tool that has been replaced. The full content of each schedule is reviewed against its sources at least twice a year, and immediately whenever a country announces a change. Each country page shows the date it was last verified.

We are not perfect and schedules are detailed. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us through the feedback form - corrections from parents and health professionals are genuinely useful and we act on them.

What this site is not

It is not a government service, a health service, or connected to any pharmaceutical company. It does not give medical advice, cannot take account of your individual child, and is not a substitute for your GP, health visitor, practice nurse or paediatrician. It does not book appointments or hold its own list of clinics - every country page links to that country's official "find a vaccination service" tool, and vaccinations are given through your local service.

How it is funded

Child Vaccine Tracker is free to use and is funded by advertising. Advertising has no influence on the content: the schedules come from official sources and nothing on the site is sponsored. We do not sell anything and we do not collect or sell personal data - see our privacy policy.

Editorial approach

Content is written to be accurate first and readable second. Where a country is still refining its schedule, or where a detail varies within a country (for example between provinces in Canada, or states in India), we say so rather than picking one version and presenting it as universal. We avoid alarming language, and we try to explain not just what is recommended but why.
