Official sources only
Every schedule on Child Vaccine Tracker is taken from the national immunisation programme of that country - for example the NHS and UK Health Security Agency, the US CDC, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Australian Immunisation Handbook. We only add a country when its schedule can be confirmed against at least three solid public sources, and every country page lists the sources it was checked against.
How often it is checked
- Every month, an automated check visits every official source page and flags any that have changed, moved or disappeared, so we can re-read them.
- At least twice a year, each country's schedule is re-read line by line against its sources.
- Straight away when a country announces a change - for example adding a vaccine, changing the number of doses or moving an age.
Each country page shows the date it was last fully checked. Guides and comparison pages are generated directly from the same checked schedules, so they update together.
Writing for parents
We explain things simply, without jargon, and we stick to what official health services say. We do not give individual medical advice, and nothing on the site replaces a conversation with your doctor, nurse, health visitor or pharmacist. Where countries differ, we say so rather than picking a side.
Corrections
If you spot something out of date or wrong, please tell us through the feedback form or on our contact page. We check every report against the official source and correct confirmed errors as quickly as we can.
Independence and advertising
Child Vaccine Tracker is free to use and may show advertising to cover running costs. Advertisers have no say over our content, and we do not accept payment to feature or recommend any product. We do not collect information about your child: any dates you enter stay on your own device.
Who runs this site
Child Vaccine Tracker is run by Axiella Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16859263), as part of a small network of free parenting tools. See About for more.
